Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the cloud infrastructure services (“Services”) provided by Jas InTech LLC (“JasCloud,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It supplements our Terms of Service; capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.
1. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Services to engage in, facilitate, or further any of the following:
1.1 Illegal Content and Conduct
- Any activity that violates applicable federal, state, or international law
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any form — reported immediately to NCMEC
- Human trafficking, terrorist content, or content facilitating violence
- Unlicensed financial services, securities fraud, or money-laundering activity
- Illegal gambling, lotteries, or unlicensed gaming operations
- Sale of controlled substances, weapons, or other restricted goods
1.2 Network Abuse and Security Violations
- Distributing malware, viruses, worms, trojans, rootkits, or ransomware
- Phishing, social engineering, or impersonation campaigns
- Unauthorised port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing of systems you do not own or have explicit written permission to test
- Denial-of-service (DoS / DDoS) attacks, amplification attacks, or any deliberate attempt to disrupt third-party systems
- Attempting to bypass authentication, authorisation, or rate-limiting on our or any third party’s systems
- Operating open relays, open proxies, or anonymisation services that conceal attacker origin
- Distributing or operating botnet command-and-control infrastructure
1.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Sending bulk unsolicited commercial email (UCE / spam)
- Violating the CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, GDPR e-Privacy rules, or any comparable law
- Operating mail servers configured to relay third-party email without authentication
- Sending mail that forges headers, omits unsubscribe links, or misrepresents the sender
- SMS, push, or VoIP spam, including unsolicited robocalls
1.4 Intellectual Property Infringement
- Hosting, distributing, or facilitating the unauthorised reproduction of copyrighted works
- Operating bittorrent trackers, indexers, or seedboxes for infringing material
- Using trademarks you do not own to mislead, deceive, or trade on another’s reputation
- Circumventing digital rights management (DRM) or copy-protection systems in violation of 17 U.S.C. § 1201
JasCloud responds to valid DMCA notices under our DMCA Policy. Repeat infringers will be terminated.
1.5 Resource Abuse
- Cryptocurrency mining of any kind without prior written approval from JasCloud
- Distributed computing for the purpose of profiting from third-party blockchain rewards
- Deliberate circumvention of CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, or IP-address quotas
- Using shared resources in a way that materially degrades service for other customers
- Operating “abuse-attractive” services (open IRC, public TOR exit, open VPN endpoints) without prior approval
1.6 Privacy and Data Misuse
- Collecting, storing, or transmitting personal information without lawful basis
- Scraping or harvesting third-party data in violation of those parties’ terms of service
- Operating data brokers, doxxing services, or identity-aggregation databases
- Surveillance-as-a-service or stalkerware targeting individuals without consent
1.7 Export-Controlled Use
- Using the Services in a manner that violates U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or sanctions enforced by OFAC
- Providing access to the Services to individuals or entities in OFAC-sanctioned jurisdictions
- Training or operating AI models for prohibited military, weapons, or surveillance applications
- Re-exporting NVIDIA accelerator-enabled compute to entities on the BIS Entity List without authorisation
2. AI and GPU-Specific Restrictions
GPU instances and AI accelerator services are subject to additional restrictions:
- Training, fine-tuning, or operating models intended to generate non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)
- Generating CSAM or content sexualising minors, regardless of whether real or synthetic
- Operating real-time facial-recognition surveillance of unwitting individuals in public space
- Producing political disinformation, deepfakes of identifiable individuals without consent, or election-interference content
- Automated decision-making with legally significant effect (employment, credit, healthcare) without disclosed human oversight, in violation of CCPA / CPRA ADMT regulations
3. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The conduct of all users accessing your account, whether authorised or not
- Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your credentials and API keys
- Promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised access at abuse@jas.vc
- Backing up your data — we do not maintain backups on your behalf unless explicitly contracted
- Ensuring your use complies with all laws applicable to your jurisdiction and your customers
4. Reporting Abuse
To report abuse, security incidents, or violations of this AUP, contact:

Response time: within 24 hours for verified reports
Include full headers (for email), source IP and timestamp (for network abuse), or a URL and screenshot (for content) so we can investigate quickly.
5. Enforcement
We may at our discretion:
- Investigate alleged violations, including reviewing customer Content where lawfully permitted
- Suspend the affected resources to mitigate ongoing harm
- Terminate the account immediately for severe or repeated violations
- Disclose information to law enforcement or regulators when legally compelled or to protect rights, property, or safety
- Preserve evidence for the duration of any active investigation
We may waive notice and immediately suspend resources where there is an active security incident, ongoing illegal activity, or risk to third parties.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance via email or website notice. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
